DEXTER, Mo. -- Ola M. Hopkins, 92, of Dexter died Thursday, Sept. 27, 2001, at Crowley Ridge Care Center.
She was born Oct. 16, 1908, in Paragould, Ark., daughter of George W. and Belle Gramlin Hall Vanpool. She first married Grant Singleton Nov. 2, 1940, at Farmington, Mo. He died April 12, 1967. She married George Hopkins Aug. 12, 1967, at Dexter. He died Aug. 23, 1984.
Hopkins had worked at Elder Manufacturing Co. in Bloomfield, Mo. She was a member of First General Baptist Church at Dexter.
Survivors include two stepdaughters, Beulah Harmon of Bolivar, Mo., Beatrice Busby of St. James, Mo.; a stepsister, Pauline Burke of Fremont, Mo.; eight stepgrandchildren; and several great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a stepson, a half brother, and two sisters.
Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from 2:30-3:30 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. The Rev. Clifford Wray will officiate. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
