Ola Rea Bollinger, 86, of Jackson died Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at Monticello House.

She was the 10th child of 10 children, born March 23, 1934, in Neelys Landing to Clinton and Hannah Penrod. She and Bobby J. Bollinger were married Feb. 13, 1953, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death Feb. 14, 2002.

Ola was a 1952 graduate of Jackson High School.

She served as a 4-H leader for 10 years. She was of the Baptist faith.

She loved raising chickens and enjoyed fishing. She loved plants and flowers, and every year put out a big garden and canned.

Survivors include two sons, Mike Bollinger of Fruitland and Joe (Vivian) Bollinger of Millersville; one daughter, Gail (Chuck) Kocher of Fruitland; five grandchildren, Cody (Shannon) Walker, Jeramey (Christa) Bollinger, Caitlin (Mark) Pennebaker, Kelli (Cougar) Knickerbocker and Ashley Bollinger; three stepgrandsons, Travis and Justin Keen and Nathan Kocher; and three great-grandchildren, Hunter and Aubree Pennebaker and Renzo Bollinger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, seven brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Jackson Funeral Home in Jackson.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorial contributions may be given to New Bethel Church Cemetery Fund.
