SIKESTON -- Odis Andrew Hill, 82, of Sikeston died Saturday, Aug. 12, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Oct. 4, 1912, in Center Ridge, Ark., to Ance and Dovie Johnson Hill. On July 2, 1932, in Center Ridge, he married Giva B. Hill.

Hill was a farmer and had been employed by Bricklayers of America Local Union 23 in Cape Girardeau. He was a member of the Miner Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife; three sons, Charles R. Hill of Garland, Texas, Odis Leon Hill of Memphis, Tenn., and Paul E. Hill of Blodgett; six daughters, Mary L. Stallings of Springdale, Wash., Karen K. Larson of Spokane, Wash., Brenda Faye Shields of Chaffee, and Latisha A. Kirtley, Nina J. James and Carolyn Sue Clark, all of Sikeston; two sisters, Jeanetta Kirtley and Maxine Hill, both of Morrillton, Ark.; 26 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, two brothers and one sister.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Dr. Dale Merritt officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
