VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Funeral for Odessa Wright of Villa Ridge will be held at 7 p.m. today at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge. The Revs. Al Ingram and C.C. Miller will officiate.
Graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at National Cemetery in Mound City.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
Wright, 67, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 1998, at Day Star Nursing Center in Cairo.
She was born Dec. 8, 1930, in Sand Hill, Miss., daughter of Thomas and Hattie Thomas. She married Lorenzo "Wren" Wright.
Wright was a Pulaski County Republican election judge many years. She was a member of Free Will Baptist Church in America.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Hattie Henderson of Mississippi; a sister, Dorothy Evans; 10 stepbrothers, Leneal, Hoy, John, Paul, Owen, Lee, Henry, Eugene, Booker, and Edger Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.
