GIPSY, Mo. -- Odes L. Jackson, 90, of Gipsy died Friday, April 13, 2001, at Advance Nursing Center in Advance, Mo. He was born May 28, 1910, at Gipsy, son of Andrew and Minnie Gilliland Jackson. He and Cora Lemons were married Nov. 10, 1928, at Marble Hill, Mo. She died May 15, 1967...

GIPSY, Mo. -- Odes L. Jackson, 90, of Gipsy died Friday, April 13, 2001, at Advance Nursing Center in Advance, Mo.

He was born May 28, 1910, at Gipsy, son of Andrew and Minnie Gilliland Jackson. He and Cora Lemons were married Nov. 10, 1928, at Marble Hill, Mo. She died May 15, 1967.

Jackson was a retired timber worker and truck driver.

Survivors include three sons, Dale, Jay and Jerry Jackson, all of Gipsy; a sister, Mildred Lemons of Illinois; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Keith Price officiating. Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery at Gipsy.
