BLOOMFIELD -- Norman L. Coburn, 75, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, July 11, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.He was born at Puxico March 3, 1916, son of Jasper Coburn and Ethel Siler Coburn.
He married Louise Sifford on July 11, 1942. She survives.
Coburn retired from the Air Force in 1976. He was also a retired printer and had worked at area newspapers.
He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomfield, member and Past Master of Bloomfield Lodge #153, A.F., and A.M.; member of the Scottish Rite, VAlley of St. Louis; and member of the Bloomfield Amvets.
Survivors include one sister, Otelia Chapman, Sikeston, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel Saturday, with the Rev. Paul Catterton of Piedmont, and the Rev. Harold Ferrell of Bloomfield, officiating. Burial was in Lick Creek Cemetery near Bloomfield.
