SIKESTON, Mo. -- Norman Kelley, 85, of Sikeston died Thursday, July 3, 2003, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born March 4, 1918, at Morrilton, Ark., son of John Henry and Winnie Hubbard Kelley. He and Ola Hill were married Dec. 23, 1939, in Sikeston. He was a member of the Morehouse Church of Christ and a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Billy Kelley and Allen Kelley, both of Essex, Mo.; four daughters, Judy Armstrong of Clarksville, Tenn., Paula Byrd of Sikeston, Pam Woolsey of Carlock, Ill., and Regina Martin of Essex; a brother, J.W. Kelley of Booneville, Miss.; three sisters, Ellen McMillan of River Grove, Ill., and Jerelene Kreykendall and Bernice Cummings, both of Cahokia, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, a brother and three sisters.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Essex Cemetery, with Dale Grissom officiating.
