CHAFFEE -- Funeral Mass for Norman J. Kay of Chaffee will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. The Rev. Ralph Duffner will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
Kay, 90, died Thursday, May 29, 1997, at Chaffee Nursing Center.
He was born Feb. 21, 1907, in Danville, Ill., son of John and Agnes Baumer Kay. He and Janice Ashley were married Oct. 16, 1941.
Kay was a machinist with Frisco Railroad Co. at Chaffee 47 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of St. Ambrose Church and its Men's Club, and International Association of Machinists in Memphis, Tenn.
Survivors include his wife; and a sister, Glenna Vogel of Portageville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
