KELSO -- Norman Joseph Burger, 64, of Kelso, died Thursday, July 21, 1994, at his home. He was born Feb. 4, 1930, at Kelso, son of Fred P. and Freda J. Heisserer Burger. He and Betty M. Schott were married Nov. 25, 1954. Burger was a salesman with Sears, retiring after 20 years. KELSO -- Norman Joseph Burger, 64, of Kelso, died Thursday, July 21, 1994, at his home.

He was born Feb. 4, 1930, at Kelso, son of Fred P. and Freda J. Heisserer Burger. He and Betty M. Schott were married Nov. 25, 1954.

Burger was a salesman with Sears, retiring after 20 years. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and its Men's Club, and Knights of Columbus Council 1111 in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Burger of Paducah, Ky.; two daughters, Deborah Gawf of Bonne Terre, Darlene VanGennip of Advance; his mother of Cape Girardeau; a brother, David Burger of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Wanda Drury of Cape Girardeau, and five grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City after 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The parish rosary will be at 7, and KC service at 7:30.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Church, with Msgr. John Westhues officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
