NORMAN BLUMENBERG

WHITEWATER -- Norman Leo Blumenberg, 62, of Whitewater died Thursday, Aug. 21, 1997, at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born Sept. 23, 1934, at Whitewater, son of Emil Alvin and Ruby Amelia Schlimme Blumenberg. He and Sue McDougal were married July 5, 1953, in Iuka, Miss.

Blumenberg was a farmer, and member of Whitewater Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Rodney Blumenberg of Whitewater, Wayne Blumenberg of Kalamazoo, Mich.; a daughter, Robin Draughon of Whitewater; a sister, Edna Followell of Kalamazoo; and a grandchild.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Johnny Seabaugh officiating. Burial will be in Whitewater Methodist Church Cemetery.
