Norman B. Seib, 71, 2809 Valley Creek Road, died Tuesday, May 17, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 3, 1922, in Cape Girardeau, son of Norman and Geraldine Stubenrauch Seib. He and Shirley Ann Lunsford were married May 21, 1942, in Cape Girardeau.
Seib was plant superintendent with Shell Oil Co. 34 years. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Eagles and Elks.
Survivors include his wife; Gary Seib of Hillsboro, Michael, Danny and Joe Seib of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Cathy Recar and Gerry Driskell of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Vincent Seib of Biloxi, Miss.; a sister, Virginia Hinman of Cape Girardeau; 14 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today. An Elks service will be held at 6:30, parish prayers at 7, and Knights of Columbus service at 7:30.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Richard Lause officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
