Norma Amynell Wolters, 93, of Jackson died Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, at her home. She was born Dec. 22, 1913, daughter of William Savers and Dora Johnson. She married Elmer Wolters Aug. 31, 1935. He died Dec. 2, 1996. Wolters worked as a nurse's aide for 25 years at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was the oldest living member of New McKendree United Methodist Church and belonged to Chapter 91, Order of Eastern Star...

Norma Amynell Wolters, 93, of Jackson died Friday, Sept. 21, 2007, at her home.

She was born Dec. 22, 1913, daughter of William Savers and Dora Johnson. She married Elmer Wolters Aug. 31, 1935. He died Dec. 2, 1996.

Wolters worked as a nurse's aide for 25 years at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was the oldest living member of New McKendree United Methodist Church and belonged to Chapter 91, Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son, Billy Wolters of Jackson; a daughter, Mary Dippold of Perryville, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son and a daughter.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home.

Funeral is at 1 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home with the Rev. John Rice and Thomas Bray officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
