NORMA R. PITTMAN

CHAFFEE -- Norma Rita Pittman, 47, of Chaffee, died Monday, Jan. 9, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Oct. 29, 1947, at Benton, daughter of Adam Eugene and Lorena Christine Scherer LeGrand.

Pittman had been a sole stainer at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Hanshew and Laura Pittman of Chaffee; her father of Benton; a sister, Irene Elfrink of Benton; seven brothers, A.J. "Tony", Walter and Monroe LeGrand of Benton, Ralph LeGrand of Cape Girardeau, Robert LeGrand of Sikeston, Vernon and David LeGrand of Jackson, and a grandchild.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Benton after 5 p.m. today. The rosary will be at 7.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
