FROHNA, Mo. -- Norma A. Mueller, 96, of Frohna died Friday, Nov. 24, 2017, at Lutheran Senior Services in Ballwin, Missouri.
She was born May 23, 1921, in Altenburg, Missouri, daughter of William and Louise Swan Hecht. She married Ruben Mueller on April 25, 1943. He preceded her in death Aug. 13, 2010.
Norma was an elementary-school teacher at Concordia Trinity Lutheran School. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, LWML and Ladies Aid. Norma was a talented musician and served as organist, choir and band director for Concordia Lutheran Church and School.
Survivors include three sons and three daughters, Lynn (Bonnie) Mueller of Frohna, Faye (Gary) Truwe of Indianapolis, Lee (Phyllis) Mueller of Aurora, Colorado, Gayle (Laurence) Rosen of Wildwood, Missouri, Kirk (Kathleen) Mueller of St. Louis and Dawn (Craig) Tayon of Belleville, Illinois; one sister, Doris (Bill) Sullivan of Cape Girardeau; one sister-in-law, Vera Hecht of Jackson; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, one sister and one daughter-in-law, Sylvia Mueller.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 6:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with the Rev. Rod Benkendorf officiating.
Memorials are preferred to LCMS Foundation Mueller Endowment Fund.
