CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Norma E. Mahannah, 97, of Chaffee, formerly of Pocahontas, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2015, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.
She was born Jan. 29, 1918, in Jackson, daughter of Arthur and Emma Kasten Kieninger. She was married to Orval Beck and later to Ray Mahannah. They both preceded her in death.
Norma was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas. She worked various jobs while in the St. Louis area. She later moved from St. Louis to Mountain Home, Arkansas, and then relocated to the Jackson area in 2010.
Loving survivors include a sister, Jean Petzoldt of Pocahontas; six nephews; a niece; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Nelson Kieninger.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Virgil Kelm officiating.
Interment will follow in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Pocahontas.
