JACKSON -- Norma M. Lichtenegger, 74, Jackson Route 4, died Friday, April 17, 1992, at the Lutheran Home. She was born Dec. 3, 1917, at Tilsit, daughter of Bernard and Meta Loos Meyer. JACKSON -- Norma M. Lichtenegger, 74, Jackson Route 4, died Friday, April 17, 1992, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Dec. 3, 1917, at Tilsit, daughter of Bernard and Meta Loos Meyer. She married Melvin Lichtenegger Jan. 5, 1941.

Lichtenegger was a secretary at the Land Bank from 1938-43. The family owned and operated Lichtenegger Finer Foods from 1947-80.

She was chairman of the gifts committee for the VIP Auction for the Oliver House in 1974. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, St. Paul Concordia Guild, Rotary Anns, and Jackson Senior Citizens.

Survivors include her husband; four sons, Harold Lichtenegger of Puxico, David Lichtenegger of Pryor, Okla., John Lichtenegger of Jackson, James Lichtenegger of Carbondale, Ill.; a sister, Mildred Witzke of DeSoto, and nine grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Church. The Rev. Lawrence Eatherton will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4-7 p.m. today.
