Norma Dell Foy, 86, formerly of St. Louis, passed away on July 10, 2019 at a nursing home in Cape Girardeau. She was born Feb. 14, 1933, in Sikeston, Missouri, to the proud parents, Jessie N. and Bertha M. Hutson Wheeler. She married Ernie N. Foy Sr. at Bellville, Illinois, on Sept. 3, 1965. He preceded her in death Dec. 27, 1978...

Norma Dell Foy, 86, formerly of St. Louis, passed away on July 10, 2019 at a nursing home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 14, 1933, in Sikeston, Missouri, to the proud parents, Jessie N. and Bertha M. Hutson Wheeler. She married Ernie N. Foy Sr. at Bellville, Illinois, on Sept. 3, 1965. He preceded her in death Dec. 27, 1978.

Norma graduated from Benton High School and spent her entire adult career as a loyal employee of State Farm Insurance Co. -- more than 45 years of service.

Norma is survived by one brother, Bennie L. Wheeler of Scott City, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Norma was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Monroe Wheeler of Hamilton, Alabama, and Donald Wheeler of Cape Girardeau; four half brothers and four half sisters.

Per Norma's request, there will be a graveside service at 1 p.m. Friday at Sunset Burial Park and Mausoleum at 10180 Gravois, St. Louis, Missouri. Jim McNiel, staff evangelist and senior adult minister of Tower Grove Baptist Church, where Norma was a member will officiate. Carey Miller of Carey Miller Ministries Inc. of Palmetto Bay, Florida, will be honorary officiant.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City was in charge of arrangements.
