Norma Felty

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Norma Felty, 82, of Chaffee died Monday, May 16, 2011, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born Dec. 10, 1928, in Advance, Mo., to Benjamin Franklin and Lina Carolina Cato Brown. She married Marvin Dale Felty Sept. 9, 1947. He preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 1984.

Felty was a machine operator at Sports Specialty Shoe Co. in Chaffee. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Chaffee.

Survivors include a son, Roger Felty and fiancee Karen Ervin of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Eugene "Boad" Brown of Jerseyville, Ill.; and a sister, Shirley Woods of Cedar Hill, Mo.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call from noon until service time Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. William Marshall officiating.

Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
