MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Norma E. Devenport, 99, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, at the family home.
She was born July 22, 1909, at Shrum, Mo., daughter of John and Lula Belle Ridings Patton. She and W.H. "Billy" Devenport were married Sept. 3, 1925. He preceded her in death Aug. 27, 1994.
Devenport was a member of Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Imogene Brown and Margie Cook of Marble Hill; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great-grandchildren; six great-great-stepgrandchildren; and a great-great-great-stepgrandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, two sisters, a grandchild, a great-grandchild and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Jim Fulbright, Ronnie Devenport and Sharon Monroe officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill.
