PADUCAH, Ky. -- Norma Jean Adams, 63, of Paducah, formerly of Cairo, Ill., died Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
She was born March 10, 1942, in Cairo, daughter of Bob and Anna Hornberger Vowels.
Adams was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cairo and attended St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Paducah.
Survivors include a daughter, Robin Thomas of Cape Girardeau; a son, Barry Adams of Paducah; a sister, Shirley Manker of Salem, Ky.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Jerome Fortenberry officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Villa Ridge.
