BLOOMFIELD -- Norbert "Nob" Williams, 85, of Bloomfield died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 12, 1912, at Bloomfield, son of Newton and Ollie Stafford Williams. He and Ethel Ross were married Oct. 26, 1948, in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Williams had operated a car lot in Michigan before returning to Bloomfield 23 years ago. He was a member of Olive Branch Lodge 542 AF&AM in Dearborn, Mich., and attended a Methodist church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Thomas Williams of Pontiac, Mich.; two sisters, Thelma Harris and Ruby Roy of Dexter.
Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. today. Masonic rites will be held at 7.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Hank Foster officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
