PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Norbert "Bert" F. Renaud, 77, of Trinity, Texas, died Saturday, April 8, 2006, in Porter, Texas.
He was born June 6, 1928, at Perryville, son of the late Lawrence F. and Cecilia E. French Renaud. He married Sammie Baker.
Renaud was a business manager of IUOE Operating Engineers Local 450 for the state of Texas. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Eagles, the American Legion, a 55-year member of the Operating Engineers and a U.S. Navy veteran.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Janice M. Modin; three brothers, Eldon J. Renaud of St. Louis, Milton L. Renaud of Perryville and Leo J. Renaud of Centerville, Texas; and two sisters, Florence Blandford of Perryville and Clara Marie Schloss of St. Louis.
Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville. A rosary will be held Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Graveside services will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery at 10 a.m. Thursday. The Revs. Kevin Fausz and John Gagnepain will officiate, with military graveside services by American Legion Post 133.
