Nora Estalee White, 90, of Canoga Park, Calif., passed away Thursday, Nov. 4, 2010, at her home.
She was born July 1, 1920, in Mounds, Ill., daughter of Joseph Dudley and Georgia L. Redfern Proctor. She and Ciscero White were married March 15, 1941. He preceded her in death March 13, 1991.
Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Soa of Long Beach, Calif., Phyllis Cobb of Canoga Park; two brothers, Woodrow "Woody" Proctor of Cape Girardeau, Joe E. Proctor of Herrin, Ill.; a sister, Erline Hooker of Pekin, Ill.; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Dorothy Thomas, Joetta Myers, Opal and Mary Proctor; and a brother, Paul Albert Proctor.
The funeral was held Tuesday at Gates, Kingsley and Gates Funeral Home in Canoga Park. Burial was in Oakwood Memorial Park in Chatsworth, Calif.
