Nora Seabaugh
Nora Lee Seabaugh, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Oct. 11, 1929, in Cape Girardeau, to Edward F. and Erna Sander Spalding. She and Robert E. Seabaugh were married Dec. 25, 1947, in Cape Girardeau.
Seabaugh was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau, where she was baptized and confirmed.
Survivors include her spouse, Robert E. Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Edward "Bud" (Peggy) Spalding of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Ruby Leach, Shirley (Marvin) Ates, Phyllis (Gene) Maevers, and Kay (Butch) Maevers, all of Cape Girardeau; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews; and three godsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Carolyn Ruth Spalding.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Douglas C. Breite officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
