Nora Kiefer

PERRYVILLE Mo. -- Nora A. Kiefer, 78, of Perryville died Nov. 8, 2014, at Holiday Residential in Perryville.

She was born Feb. 17, 1936, in Beemer, Nebraska, daughter of Martin and Marie Pagels Roth. She and Leroy S. Kiefer were married March 2, 1957. He preceded her in death July 3, 2005.

Nora had been a sewing machine operator at International Shoe Co. and a farmer's wife. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Chancel Guild, Tuesday Ladies Bible Class and Bereans Bible Class.

Survivors include one sister, Neltha Wills of Perryville, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Rozell, Victor and Gilbert; and one sister, Rosilda.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Methodist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Immanuel Lutheran Church or School Debt Fund.
