NORA GIBSON

DEXTER -- Nora M. Gibson, 94, of Dexter died Thursday, March 27, 1997, at the home of a daughter near Dexter.

She was born April 2, 1902, in Enfield, Ill., daughter of William and Ellen Williams Pullum. She and Richard Gibson were married Sept. 18, 1920, at Poplar Bluff. He died Sept. 8, 1939.

Gibson has lived in Stoddard County since 1905, and at Dexter the past 51 years. She was a member of Second General Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Juanita Umfleet of Dexter; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Greg Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Triplett Cemetery near Dexter.
