Noel Hasty

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Noel D. Hasty, 59, of Sikeston died Monday, Oct. 23, 2006, at his home.

He was born Nov. 9, 1946, in Tanner, Mo., son of Ettel and Dorothy Christopher Hasty of Vanduser, Mo. He and Donna Mae Daniel were married April 9, 1966. She died July 18, 2002.

Hasty worked for SEMO Grain, Cargill and Bell Farms before retiring. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Germany.

Survivors include his parents; a daughter, Deanna Mae Hasty of Sikeston, Mo.; three brothers, Ronnie Hasty of Ozark, Ala., Lonnie Hasty of Cape Girardeau and Dennis Hasty of Sikeston; three sisters, Kay Tropf and Sue Watkins of Scopus, Mo., and Pam Easter of Vanduser, Mo.; and one grandson.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery near Morley, Mo., with full military rites.
