BENTON, Mo. -- Noble Milam, 73, of Benton died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 18, 1938, in Stokes, Ark., to Robert Hugh and Mavis Irene Mayfield Milam Sr. He and Elizabeth L. "Betty" Penrose were married June 20, 1959, in Morley, Mo.
Milam was a carpenter, and a member of Morley Baptist Church in Morley.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Noble (Tami) Milam Jr. of Patterson, Mo.; two daughters, Tammy (Kurt) Kramer of Lancaster, S.C., Tina (Mike) Johnson of West Plains, Mo.; a brother, Ronald (Doris) Milam of Dierks, Ark.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Rodney Allen in 1978; and a brother, Robert Hugh Jr.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Unity Baptist Cemetery in Benton.
