CAMPBELL -- Funeral for Noble Mirl Davis of Campbell will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Rainey Funeral Chapel in Bernie. Dale Hartle will officiate. Burial will be in Smith-Stevenson Cemetery near Dexter.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until service time.

Davis, 76, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.

He was born March 14, 1922, at Powe, son of Arthur and Altha Mae Snider Davis. He and Anna Belle Lamunion were married July 13, 1950, in Piggott, Ark.

Davis was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Arthur, Dennis, Jimmy and Michael Davis, all of Campbell; three daughters, Sharon Davis of Campbell, Donna Hirt of Miami, Mo., Kim Cavaness of Malden; two sisters, Sylvia Brown of Metamora, Mich., Geneva Hathaway of Bernie; 18 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a grandchild.
