Nita Quick

Nita Dean Quick, 82 of Jackson passed away at 4:21 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 17, 2021, at her home.

She was born Nov. 2, 1938, in Morrilton, Arkansas, to Jaye and Geraldine Drake Kissire. She married Arnold Allen Quick on March 9, 1979, and he preceded her in death Jan. 4, 2021.

Nita was a bank teller and secretary before her retirement. She enjoyed taking care of her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Nelson; brother, Robert Kissire; and numerous special nephews and a niece.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert Cashon, and her parents.

The family will host a graveside inurnment at 11 a.m. at Lorimier Cemetery on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a no-kill dog shelter of your choice or the breast cancer society.

According to her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded by Crain Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Cape Girardeau.
