SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Nina Bell Beardslee of Scott City will be at 2 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The Rev. Ron Dunavin, pastor of Broadway United Methodist Church in Scott City, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery at Commerce.

Mrs. Beardslee died Friday at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was 76.

She was born June 17, 1914 at Commerce to the late Ulysses and Addie Sanders Edmonds. On Feb. 24, 1934 she married Glenn Beardslee at Commerce.

She was a member of the Broadway United Methodist Church, the Anti-Cant Sunday School class and the United Methodist Women's club.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Glenda Rae Beardslee of Scott City; a brother, Ray Edmonds of Charleston; and a sister, Alta Lawson of Russell Springs, Ky.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Friends may call today from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
