CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Nicholas Henry Schwach Jr., 77, of Chaffee died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was the son of Nicholas Henry and Nellie White Schwach. He and Marlin Joyce Schoenher were married May 24, 1946, at Dutchtown, Mo.
Schwach was employed by McCarthy Brothers construction. He was a member of the Chaffee VFW Post 3127, Chaffee American Legion Post 389, Chaffee Elks Lodge 1810, Oran Knights of Columbus 4311, Hoisting Engineers Local 513 Union and St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Margaret Ann Schwach of Chaffee, Diane Sue Heisserer of Woodson Terrace, Mo., Sandra Kay LaGrand of St. Peters, Mo. and Deborah May Speedy of Foley, Mo.; a brother, John Von of Perryville, Mo.; two sisters, Mary Stelle Penner and Dorothy Ann Stock, both of Perryville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. The Rev. Ralph Duffner will officiate with burial in St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery.
