PUXICO --ettie M. Willis, 100, of Puxico died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at Lucy Lee Healthcare in Poplar Bluff. She was born Oct. 12, 1899, in Clifton, Tenn., daughter of John Meritt and Mary M. Crutchfield Boyd. She and Joseph V. "Buster" Willis were married March 28, 1929, at Marston. He died March 26, 1993...

PUXICO --ettie M. Willis, 100, of Puxico died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1999, at Lucy Lee Healthcare in Poplar Bluff.

She was born Oct. 12, 1899, in Clifton, Tenn., daughter of John Meritt and Mary M. Crutchfield Boyd. She and Joseph V. "Buster" Willis were married March 28, 1929, at Marston. He died March 26, 1993.

Willis moved to Puxico in 1941 from Portageville. She attended Hobbs Chapel Church near Puxico.

Survivors include a son, Larry Willis of near Dudley; two daughters, Geraldine Allen and Laura Willis of Huntington Beach, Calif.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico from 5-8 p.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. George Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Hobbs Chapel Cemetery.
