EAST PRAIRIE -- Nettie Irene Terry, 90, of Jackson, formerly of East Prairie, died Tuesday, May 31, 1994, at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home. She was born March 18, 1904, in Fulton County, Ky., daughter of John J. and Fanny McBride Davis. She married Allen Wells, who preceded her in death. She then married Halmar Swanson in 1925, who died in February 1961. She married Bert Terry, April 18, 1969. He died Aug. 30, 1989...

EAST PRAIRIE -- Nettie Irene Terry, 90, of Jackson, formerly of East Prairie, died Tuesday, May 31, 1994, at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home.

She was born March 18, 1904, in Fulton County, Ky., daughter of John J. and Fanny McBride Davis.

She married Allen Wells, who preceded her in death. She then married Halmar Swanson in 1925, who died in February 1961. She married Bert Terry, April 18, 1969. He died Aug. 30, 1989.

Survivors include a son, Elmer E. Swanson of Hiwasse, Ark.; a daughter, Pauline "Polly" Wills; a sister, Clara Parker of Poplar Bluff; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. George White officiating.

Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Charleston.
