PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Neoma M. Rollet, 91, of Perryville died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at Independent Care Center of Perry County.
She was born April 30, 1919, in St. Mary, Mo., daughter of the late Charles and Caroline Rose Giesler Lawrence. She and Everett Francis Rollet were married Oct. 23, 1935. He preceded her in death May 4, 1988.
Survivors include two sons, Elvis (Shirley) Rollet and Melvin Rollet of Perryville; two daughters, Anna (Jack) Hoffman of Manteno, Ill., Donna (the late William) Voelker of Perryville; two sisters, Stella Mattingly and Anna May Schamel of Perryville; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister, Irma Berkbuegler; four brothers, Robert, Wilbert, Lloyd and Charles Lawrence Jr., and a son-in-law, Bill Voelker.
Mrs. Rollet had been a fancy stitcher at International Shoe Co. and later worked in assembly at VIP Industries. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and loved to flower garden and dance.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to St. Vincent Memorial Garden, Southeast Hospice or St. Vincent Endowment.
