ANNA, Ill. -- Nellie Taylor, 90, of Anna, died Wednesday, April 5, 1995, at Hillside Terrace Nursing Home in Cobden. She was born April 21, 1904, in Alexander County, daughter of William Richard and Mary Elizabeth West Harvell. She and Frank T. Taylor were married April 21, 1938. He died Feb. 20, 1960...

ANNA, Ill. -- Nellie Taylor, 90, of Anna, died Wednesday, April 5, 1995, at Hillside Terrace Nursing Home in Cobden.

She was born April 21, 1904, in Alexander County, daughter of William Richard and Mary Elizabeth West Harvell. She and Frank T. Taylor were married April 21, 1938. He died Feb. 20, 1960.

Taylor was a retired nurse aide, and attended the Baptist church.

Survivors include a son, Lester Dirden of Jonesboro; four sisters, Bertha Lingle of McClure, Lorene DeWitt of Cobden, Edna Spurlock and Helen Travis of Anna; three grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
