ANNA, Ill. -- Nellie Rude, 86, of Hammond, Ind., died Friday, May 19, 2000, at Community Hospital in Munster, Ind. She was born Nov. 28, 1913, at Murphysboro, daughter of Robert Paul and Myrtle Ethel Clutts Burris. She and Fred Rude were married April 4, 1931, at Cobden. He died July 3, 1996...

ANNA, Ill. -- Nellie Rude, 86, of Hammond, Ind., died Friday, May 19, 2000, at Community Hospital in Munster, Ind.

She was born Nov. 28, 1913, at Murphysboro, daughter of Robert Paul and Myrtle Ethel Clutts Burris. She and Fred Rude were married April 4, 1931, at Cobden. He died July 3, 1996.

Rude was formerly of Anna.

Survivors include two brothers, Wilburn Burris of Anna and Robert Burris of St. Charles, Mo.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Monday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Dewayne Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
