OLMSTED, Ill. -- Nellie Jones, 95, of Olmsted died Thursday, Sept. 3, 1998, at Daystar Nursing Home in Cairo. She was born Feb. 26, 1903, at Brumley, Mo., daughter of Henry David and Mariah Graham Wall. She and Troy Jones were married in 1924. He died in 1967...

OLMSTED, Ill. -- Nellie Jones, 95, of Olmsted died Thursday, Sept. 3, 1998, at Daystar Nursing Home in Cairo.

She was born Feb. 26, 1903, at Brumley, Mo., daughter of Henry David and Mariah Graham Wall. She and Troy Jones were married in 1924. He died in 1967.

Jones was a member of Caledonia Baptist Church in Olmsted and the Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son, Raymond Jones of Ullin; a sister, Hazel Martin of Eldon, Mo.; and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by a daughter.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin from 6 to 8 p.m. today.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Gott Cemetery near Ulman, Mo.
