NELLIE F. BOLLINGER

ADVANCE -- Nellie Francis Bollinger, 86, of Independence, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 1995, at Independence Regional Health Center.

She was born Dec. 18, 1908, in LaCenter, Ky., daughter of Jay and Ida Johnson Guffy. She and Henry "Bud" Bollinger were married April 3, 1928. He died March 13, 1991.

Survivors include three sons, Claude Bollinger of Harrisonville, Robert Bollinger of Blue Springs, Gene Bollinger of Camden Point; two daughters, Anna Bell of Yerington, Nev., Wanda Dunn of Sulphur Springs, Texas; three brothers, Robert Guffy of Idaho, L.B. Guffy of Oregon, Wiley Guffy of Carson City, Nev.; two sisters, Lillian Spears of Florida, Lillie Carroll of Idaho; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Curtis True officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance.
