CHARLESTON -- Nellie Crowder, 59, of Charleston died Thursday, July 22, 1999, at her home.

She was born Jan. 26, 1940, at Pinhook, daughter of Leroy and Lydia Spellers Gary. She married Eugene Crowder, who preceded her in death.

Crowder was a member of Opportunity Church of God in Christ, and served on various committees.

Survivors include three sons, Bobby and Greg Gary of Tacoma, Wash., John Gary of Charleston; three sisters, Julia and Dorothy Gary, Creacy Gillespie, all of Charleston; five brothers, Louis Coleman of St. Louis, Levoner Gary of Joliet, Ill., Leroy Gary and Raymond Spellers of Chicago, John Gary of Columbus, Ga.; and three grandsons.

Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Opportunity Church, with Elder Steve Betts officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
