Nell Elizabeth Seabaugh Morse Keller of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born Aug. 30, 1909, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Jonas and Mary Josephine Biehle Seabaugh. She was married to Claude E. Morse in 1925. Nell Elizabeth Seabaugh Morse Keller of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Aug. 30, 1909, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Jonas and Mary Josephine Biehle Seabaugh. She was married to Claude E. Morse in 1925. She later married Charles Frank Keller, who died in 1976.

She was educated in Cape Girardeau Public Schools, and was a graduate of Southeast Missouri Business College. She worked at International Shoe Co., Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce, and had been on the staff of Cape County Chapter of American Red Cross 14 years, retiring in 1971 as executive director.

She was a longtime member of Third Street United Methodist Church, and was currently a member of First Assembly of God Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Claude E. "Pete" Morse; a daughter, Barbara Moore Staples; a great-granddaughter, Staci Underwood; two brothers, A.L. "Bus" Seabaugh and Lester Seabaugh; and a sister, Bert Brandes.

She is survived by a brother, Paul W. Seabaugh of Kennett, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Helen Morse of Cape Girar-deau; five grandchildren, Randy Morse, Sandy Morse Burton, Pamela Moore Spiros, Charles Perry Moore, April Moore Willbrand; seven great-grandchildren, Jason Spiros, Erik and Emily Morse, Ryan, Cara and Connor Moore, and Joshua Willbrand.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today, Oct. 27.

Funeral will be at 12 noon Saturday, Oct. 28, at the chapel, with the Rev. Gary Brothers and the Rev. Charles Lance officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
