NEW WELLS -- Nelda Mirly, 71, of New Wells, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1993, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 15, 1922, at Altenburg, daughter of Hugo and Bertha Weber Richter. She and Elton Mirly were married Oct. 26, 1952. He died May 30, 1987.
The Mirlys farmed and operated a dairy east of New Wells many years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.
Survivors include a son, Mark Mirly of New Wells; a daughter, Linda Mirly of Jackson; two brothers, Edward Richter of Altenburg, Raymond Richter of New Wells; two sisters, Norma Haertling of Jackson, Viola Boehme of Wittenberg, and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Church. The Rev. Walter Patzwitz will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
