Nathel Corggoins, 77, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, April 8, 1997, at Jefferson Manor.

He was born Sept. 30, 1919, in Arkansas, son of Nathanial and Alamay Watkins Corggoins.

Corggoins previously lived in Kennett, Sikeston, Scott City, and Homestead, Fla. His wife died in an automobile accident in 1980.

He had been a cook with a railroad company, and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

There are no known survivors.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with David Harline officiating. Burial will be in a Cape Girardeau cemetery.
