SIKESTON -- Natha Lee Harden, 76, of Sikeston died Monday, Sept. 13, 1999, at her home.
She was born March 5, 1923, in Grenada, Miss., the daughter of Fred and Estella Jones.
She married Walter Harden in 1939. He died in 1986.
She was a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Canalou, where she was a Sunday school teacher, church secretary, usher and member of the choir.
She is survived by four sons, Walter Harden Jr., James Harden and Earnest Harden, all of Minneapolis, Minn., and John W. Harden of St. Louis; eight daughters, Frances Mallory, Pearlene McCaster, Brenda Wright, Phyllis Thomas and Linda Williams, all of Sikeston, Carolyn Williamson of St. Louis, Evelyn Davis of Chicago and Gloria Neal of Minneapolis; a brother, Lewis Jones of Cairo, Ill.; 53 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Mose Grayson officiating.
Burial will be at Sunset of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Williams-Farr & Purnell Funeral Home in Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
