JACKSON -- Naomi Thompson, 74, of Jackson died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 13, 1925, at Crump, daughter of Lewis and Georgia Proffer Barks. She and Nathan Thompson were married Dec. 13, 1947. He died April 5, 1996.
Thompson moved to Jackson in 1973 from Crump. She worked at International Shoe Co., retiring in 1987. She was a member of Bethlehem General Baptist Church at Crump and a former member of Star Homemakers Club.
Survivors include a son, Brad Thompson of Kelso; and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Dr. Mark Anderson and the Rev. Raymond Epps will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
