Naomi Johnson
Naomi Lois (Randol) Johnson, 92, died Oct. 17, 2008.
She was born March 5, 1916, in McClure, Ill., daughter of Earl and Mary Randol. She married Lester Johnson in 1936. He died in 1982.
Johnson was a Gray Lady at St. Charles Hospital in St. Charles, Mo., for many years and worked as a preschool teacher.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Lester Ray Johnson; four sisters; and a grandchild.
Survivors include a son, Robert Johnson of Milan, Ga; three daughters, Margaret Stubbings of Marietta, Ga.; Linda Jones of Fayetteville, Ark.; and Cydnee Hamby of Woodstock, Ga.; four brothers, Wayne Randol of Cape Girardeau, Almos Randol of East Cape Girardeau, Ill.; Carroll Randol and Richard Randol, both of Canton, Ga; two sisters, Genevieve Randol of McClure and Ramona Easton of Canton, 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at noon Tuesday at Lindsey Cemetery chapel in McClure, with interment following.
