Nancy C. Woods, 71, of Jackson passed away Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born March 4, 1948, in Cincinnati to Johnnie and Martha Weaver Nalls. Nancy C. Woods, 71, of Jackson passed away Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 4, 1948, in Cincinnati to Johnnie and Martha Weaver Nalls. She and Michael A. Woods were married Feb. 16, 1980, at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson, still the church of their current membership.

Nancy worked 33 years in accounting at Procter & Gamble, retiring in 2002. Thereafter, she became very accomplished at quilting, making 174 quilts the past 17 years. She was a member of River Heritage Quilters Guild.

Loving survivors include her husband of 39 years, Mike of Jackson; three children, Neely (John) Hunter of Brunswick, Georgia, Heather (Paul) Harrison and Dustin Woods of Jackson; three grandsons, Jess Hunter, Michael Hepler and Nolan Harrison; two granddaughters, Brenna Hunter and Aubrey Hepler; two brothers, Chis Partridge of Shawneetown, Missouri, and Rick (Dora) Partridge of Graham, Washington; and one sister, Sharon (Bob) Savidge of Redington Beach, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Joyce (Jim) Ross and Betty Partridge.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to New McKendree United Methodist Church.
