Nancy L. Wickham, 81, of Jackson, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at her home.
She was born May 27, 1932, daughter of Charles and Fern Rhodes Rhea. She and Herbert F. Wickham III were married May 22, 1955.
She was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson, where she was a Stephens Minister. Nancy was a 1951 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School. She attended Southeast Missouri State University and Fontbonne University in St. Louis.
She worked at the former Sander Hardware in Jackson and retired from the Jackson School District after many years of employment. She and her husband were athletic boosters for Jackson and Southeast Missouri State University. Nancy had a talent and fondness of art like her husband.
She is survived by a son, Brad Wickham of Nederland, Colo.; daughter, Victoria Wickham of Jackson; nephew, Ralph Beck Jr. of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Lindsey Wickham, Nicole and Lauren Karlin; and a great-grandson, Noah Wickham.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Herbert F. Wickham III; and sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Ralph Beck Sr.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral service will begin 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Rev. David Israel officiating.
Burial will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Memorials may be given to the Herbert F. Wickham III Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Bank of Missouri.
