Nancy Lee Swader, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021, at Southeast Hospital.
She was born July 28, 1945, in Cape Girardeau to John L. and Ival L. Clifton Seabaugh.
She worked at Saint Francis Medical Center and Southeast Hospital. She later worked at SADI.
She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau.
Nancy will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She was a soft spoken, kind and caring person. She brought a smile to many with her thoughtful and selfless actions. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandson. While employed with SADI, she spent her time giving and caring as she has always done. The world has lost a sweet, loving soul, but Heaven has gained one. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include two sons, Michael W. Swader and Christopher H. Swader, both of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren, Ethan Michael, Chris Harold, Charlie Ann and Devyn Lee Skyer; and a great-grandchild, Eli.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John M. Seabaugh.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
