Nancy Sides, 60, of Cape Girardeau passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019, at her home.
She was born June 10, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of the late Paul "Jerry" and Glenda Bullard Abbott. She and Randy Sides were married April 29, 2000, in Cape Girardeau. He passed away Nov. 2, 2018.
Nancy graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School and went to work for Saint Francis Medical Center, where she worked for 34 years. She was a scrap-booking enthusiast and a member of Saint Francis Auxiliary. She loved her family, especially her "life lights," Stetson, Luna and Jazlyn.
Loving survivors include her son, Tyler (Heather) Beckett and their son, Stetson, of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Deborah (David) Robert of St. Louis and Carolyn Neal and Amy O'Howell, both of Cape Girardeau; and two brothers, Paul (Jane) Abbott of Cape Girardeau and Brian "Andy" Abbott of St. Louis. Also surviving are two nieces, Aubrey Neal and Carye Moses; nephew, Asa Gray; great-nephew, Stone Moses; and two great-nieces, Jazlyn Mackins and Luna Southerland.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Chris Vaught officiating. Interment will follow in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
